Twilight, Travel, and Treats

Reflections of a Twihard on all things twilight, travel, and treats.

The answer to my title question is usually NO. Except this year I was at Walmart with the kids and saw the Eclipse Valentine's cards and had to buy them. Yes I bought them all.

Here's a pic of all recent Twilight Valentine's swag being given away on Twifans by this uber fan @Twilidiot. I'm super jealous of the chocolates and boxed Valentine's and wished we lived in the USA.

Eclipse Valentine's Swag
Reminder - this is not my pic - I wish!

But my favourite guilty pleasure is opening up the "talking" card over and over again.

Here's the video posted by @twilidiot as well.

I am so grateful she had these on flickr since everytime I open up the card I have to do it stealthily. Kids are sleeping now and it's actually quite loud. It makes me a bit giddy and I started buzzing just a little.

And just so you know, Team Edward people, I really am closing the card before Jacob's voice comes on!

Happy Valentine's Day!

It's been over a month since my last Twilight post. Appalling actually considering I used to post on an almost daily basis. But going away to Europe and escaping from most my blog surfing/tweeting routine was a good thing - I think. Let's see - reconnected with husband, got to scout Twilight sites in real life like Volterra and Montepulciano, caught up on some awesome fanfic (see Swirl & Daisy and How to Save a Life), ate some kick ass food - okay, yes officially worth having the Twilight section of my blog collect a little dust.

But now I officially cannot contain myself from doing a Twilight post. There have just been too many things to talk about in recent days. More travel posts will have to wait.

*blowing dust off*

Eclipse

First of all, the triple header was totally the way to go. I had never seen Twilight on the big screen before - forgive me for being a relative Twilight newbie. It was awesome to laugh at all the cheesy moments that I'd previously cringed at.
New Moon was even better now that I'd actually been to Montepulciano. I'll have to wait until that travel post to talk about tracing the path that Alice takes, etc. Let's just say I will keep re-watching the Italy parts and feel warm and fuzzy forever.

My Eclipse thoughts? I'm not giving you a full review. Lord knows there are enough out there.
Yes I liked it.
I was f*cking pissed off for my good friend AG whose daughter was supposed to be in the movie. We will have to watch for her sweetie in the outtakes. I keep reminding myself about Rob's Vanity Fair scene being cut and that he didn't know it until he was watching it in the theatre for the first time. At least AG got to meet KStew and her daughter will always have that memory of working with them and holding KStew's hand.
I only cringed at their hair three times in total, although once Edward's sideburns did make me visibly shudder.
Carlisle's hairline was too low.
Alice's eye makeup was beautiful.
Edward's hair was a bit too flat for me. I'm not wanting Twilight bouffant but just not smushed.
Riley was fuckhawt as a vampire and I never thought I'd think that so it took me by surprise. His regular everyday headshots don't look like anything special.
Bryce, Nikki, and Jackson all did a good job.
Seeing the Third Wife scene was good because I just kept skimming the Quileute legends part so having to sit through it was important.
The stunts and fight scenes were up to snuff.
Dakota's acting was very flat. I know that's how she is supposed to be - detached and dead inside but it was too bleh.

I loved the proposal scene and yes the leg hitch was too short but I didn't care. There is enough fanfic fueled lemony goodness in my head that I don't need that from them. Honestly my mental Master of the Universe lemons will eclipse anything they do clothed on the big screen.
They cut my favourite scene from the whole series - after he gives her the ring and then really admits that he loves seeing it on her hand and she is knocked breathless by how happy he is. For some reason when he whispers "You have no idea" in her ear I get goosebumps and my knees go weak. Someone about him being that happy about having her as his wife and for Edward to breathe huskily in her ear is just, uh, beyond hot.
The last scene was anticlimactic for me. It was cute and everything with the meadow but just felt a bit blah.

Music

I've been playing piano more these days - why?

My favourite song - My Love by Sia
I adore this YouTube fanmade video. You just have to watch it for your favourite Edward and Bella moments from all three films.

The sheet music can be bought from musicnotes.com for $5.95 USD. Totally worth it since the official book hasn't been even listed yet on the Hal Leonard website.

Now you know I'm totally Team Edward. But I couldn't pass up the chance to also play the piano tune Jacob's Theme - here's the YouTube video

Seriously feeling guilty every time I play it but who can turn down free Twilight sheet music?

Free Jacob's Theme piano sheet music found here

It's very simple - just like Jacob? Easy to play and you get bored very easily.

So now we've got Bella's Lullaby and Jacob's Theme - still waiting for Edward's piano theme song - it better be good people. I still think the words to "First Day of My Life" totally fit his whole tragic self-abhorrent hero theme but I need a good piano ballad to play.

Twihards Raise Over $125,000 - Using Smut to Fight Cancer

For all that participated in the Fandom Gives Back - way to go ladies - over $125,000 USD was raised to fight childhood cancer through Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation.

For those of you who don't know Fandom Gives Back is a Twilight based charity drive and this was its second year. The basic premise was to auction off outtakes or special chapters from our favourite fanfics and then give the proceeds to charity. The auction has blossomed into autographed items (squeals that I won something - you'll have to wait for a future post when the mail comes) and massive teams being organized. Some of my favourite authors, such as Master of the Universe's Snowqueens Icedragon and Clipped Wings & Inked Armour's hunterhunting, had one big team organized by die hard fans so that as long as you contributed some amount to the charity effort you would be sent the special chapter/outtake.

I can't wait to submit these tax receipts to my accountant and have him raise his eyebrows at me. I'm glad none of them actually say "smutty twilight BDSM fanfic" on them but I'll be blushing anyways.

Lastly, thanks to Fanficzombie for inspiring my latest Twi-Mobile post. Finally, a way to read Twilighted.net fanfic on my iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch (Christ do I really have that much Apple stuff? No wonder my husband says that Apple is a slow invading evil.) Anyways, go off and check it out. I try to stay away from Twilighted.net stories just because the site is difficult to navigate and I find the format hard to read. Thank God there is now a solution - the Holy Grail! Go check it out now.

Just a quick note for those of you who aren't following Twi-Mobile yet (you know my other blog that is sucking up all my time :) First of all, I know most of you have a smartphone like a Blackberry or iPhone so Twi-Mobile applies to you! Go now and follow me!

Okay, I'll finish being a tyrant.

This is just a quick note to show off the Eclipse wallpapers I made for the iPad today. Note I don't own an iPad yet because they aren't available in Canada. They keep diverting all our shipments to the States! Darn Americans :)

I'm testing out box.net for hosting files so click on the image to download the iPad wallpaper - right click gets you only a thumbnail.

I have also started an archive at Twi-Mobile of iPad wallpapers, iPhone wallpapers, and Other Mobile wallpapers. If you have another phone that I haven't listed please let me know in the comments!

So I missed it. I've been waiting all day for Rob pictures to see where he is in my city and I missed it. What happened? I got distracted by those blue people with tails because I finally had a chance to see a movie.

Mommy TC has come back into town from Hong Kong and took the kids off our hands so Mr. TC and I could go for dinner and a movie. By the way, Mommy TC theoretically doesn't know I have a blog. She knows I'm a Twihard though because she helped me set up for the Twilight dinner party last year.

Click to see the party these cupcakes were destined for.
Also yesterday she was in my walk in closet and asked me "do you still need this box?" and was motioning to throw it out. I immediately screamed "Oh my god, don't touch it. Edward's in there!"

Poor Edward is back in my closet now

I was busy crying my eyes out to Avatar when the newest Vancouver Rob pics came out today on Popsugar at 9:20pm.

Seriously could he have found a dirtier jacket?
Does Ralph Lauren make it this way?

I would love to know why this guy is and where he sells his stuff

Don't worry about the food Rob. It's good :)
So after some pondering, researching, and then "uh duh" moments I realized which restaurant in Vancouver that Rob was eating lunch at with his friend Sam Bradley. They have good food and even better beer (not that I know since I'm a vodka kind of girl). If you ever come through Vancouver I'll be happy to take you there some time.

Interesting that he was there with no security. This shocks me despite it being a Thursday afternoon. Don't they know there are crazy fan bitches who have the day off? Lucky for him the kids had too many activities today and I didn't have a chance to scour the city with MK (no, I'm not saying you are a crazy fan bitch, I was talking about the other people we see lurking on the street).

Anxiously awaiting to see if after tomorrow's day of shooting at the studio he looks clean shaven aka like he was actually trying to be Edward. There is no way he came here just to hang with Kristen :)

So why the title of the post? Well, Vancouver is notoriously gloomy and I'm sure that the re-shoot had to re-jig a bit to accommodate the suddenly nice weather.

You can see there is definitely sun shining on Rob from behind him. The guy arrives in town and the sun hasn't stopped shining. Are the skies reflecting my giddiness that I am that much closer to the Precious? The following pic from my iPhone tonight should tell you how happy the heavens are that Rob is here.

See the pink clouds? Even the angels are smiling on him
I really should put my guitar in the trunk just in case I spot him on the way to work and can get him to autograph it. That is what a good fan would do...until tomorrow.

Quick sidenote, I don't know who started calling our city The Couve but I don't like it. It's like calling San Francisco "Frisco" - it's just plain wrong. There is no nickname for Vancouver and we like it that way. Sorry but they don't call this British Columbia for nothing.

So despite all the pleadings of my bloggy friends I didn't drop all my patients for the day and hang out at Vancouver Airport. Once again, here is Rob leaving Heathrow. I am personally okay with the jacket because I forgive everyone for their clothing choices when they visit the Pacific Northwest. It can be freakin' miserable cold and rainy one moment and then a beautiful sunny day the next.

Everyone seems to hate on the puffy jacket.
(from Popsugar)

There was talk of re-shooting some meadow scenes that might have some sound interference but apparently those were just with Bella and Jacob. I am glad that today was sunny for them but wonder if they were expecting it. Unlikely since Eclipse looks exceptionally dark and twisty. Maybe they'll have to stay longer to wait for the rainy gloom.

Update - thanks to Twired Jen for reminding me to check my regular Vancouver celebrity sighting blogs that are posting more pics and info. Of course they post after the location is done with as to not raise all hell.
The locals in town who have the scoop:
Malicious Mandy
LaineyGossip

Happy to finally see some photos that he has arrived in town. The ones on Popsugar are non descript at best but at least we can identify that there is a Vancouver Police officer with him.

from Popsugar

Once again, torn between wanting to know where he is so I can throw him in the back of my SUV ask him politely to sign my guitar (as suggested by Dangrdafne) and just leaving him alone so he can be in peace.

Yeah for MK offering to come with me this week to check out the Vancouver sights (eg. set stalk). I have the day off on Thursday sweetie so let's make it a date. Darn the kids and all their sports though, maybe I can take them with me instead...

Speaking of kids, my good friend BB gave my children a book yesterday. Apparently she was at a fundraiser for kids where they were selling gently used toys and books. Of all the things she could have bought them you know what she surprised them with?

Anyone recognize this book?

Yes, it's actually been on this blog already on my Remember Me props for sale post.

Get the f*ck out - same book!
Seriously. BB is not a twihard and I doubt she has ever heard of Remember Me. Yet of all the books in the world she could have bought for me (well for the kids originally) she chose that one.

I even remember during Remember Me when Tyler gives Caroline the book I think - what an awesome book, my boys would love it. Oh isn't that sweet that he's passed on something so meaningful.

Squeals with hugs and kisses to BB (yes, honey I made you read my blog and scroll all the way through a post - have you thrown up yet?) for being an intuitive sweetheart.

I hate to say it though - the book mysteriously disappeared off my sons shelf and magically ended up in my Twilight vault :)

Hoping for more Rob Vancouver sightings tomorrow...

So I am sitting at my desk at lunch and about to see my 1:30pm patient. I NEVER post from work and don't usually have time to eat lunch. Today is different. Somehow the Twilight gods are smiling on me and let me have enough time to check the web and also post!

So, PopSugar this am posted photos of Rob leaving Heathrow

(I don't have time to post the photos today in my super type A bloggy fashion so click the link above).

Question is - are these actually from yesterday and released a day late to throw off the paps?

Is he really already here in Vancouver?

After all, if Kristen is shooting a meadow scene today is he here with her? Or is she with Taylor reshooting the dream sequence where she imagines their kids?

What do you think?

Okay, back to work...

I must thank Twired Jen for sending me this email on Tuesday afternoon while I was at work.

Hey!
So KStew and Taylor were spotted leaving LAX at different times today to go to Vancouver to possibly re-shoot a couple scenes...YOU BETTER HUNT THEM DOWN GIRL!
xoxo J
Wow, that girl can be demanding! By the time I read her email and tweets I was already on my way home. If I had known they were coming today I would have considered cancelling my patients and camping out at the airport. But, I was okay to know that they were coming and that I might not see Kristen or Taylor.

I saw this first today on Twired Jen's blog

Then Twired Jen posted that they had indeed landed and we were speculating about why she looked so happy.

Also saw it today on Jen's blog.
Seriously never seen KStew this happy before.
How much liquor did she have on that flight?

Is it possible Kristen was so happy because a certain adorkable British guy would be coming to Vancouver too? I let Twired Jen know that if indeed Rob was in town that I would die.

Well, I am dead. According to the Pattinson Ladies on Facebook he has landed.

But I want proof. A picture of him at baggage claim or even a quick smoke outside his hotel. I don't want a swarm of people hounding him but maybe a small phone pic. Would that be too much to ask?

Rob looks happy enough to be safe in the car while swarmed
I am stuck in the quandary of wanting to know every single move he makes and wanting to let him live a normal life. The crazy fan girl keeps wanting to push past the rational level headed mom/doctor side of me.

Isn't that sick? Oh well, I guess a couple of days ago I was talking about buying a T shirt just because Rob might have sweat in it. This almost seems more normal.

I can't wait to see what tomorrow will bring in the Twilight Vancouver world. So excited! Almost worth missing work to look for sets...

Hello my lovelies - here is a long overdue Twilight related post from home. I realize it's as if I've fallen off the face of the earth the last few weeks. Getting off the plane from Hong Kong and then leaving less than a week later for Las Vegas - I can't complain. My blog will be neglected again this weekend but hopefully we'll have some saucy tales from Sin City to share with you on my return.

If you missed my original post about why I'm heading to Vegas it's here. We surprised my super good friend DQ with a girls weekend away for her 40th birthday and we let her in on the secret in an unusual way - from my blog! It's funny that she truly didn't realize what was going on until half way through my post - who else would we be taking backstage to meet Donny Osmond? Needless to say we are all super stoked.

What new Twilight developments this week?

First, of all, did you notice my new badge on the left? It's been there for a couple of weeks but I didn't have a chance while in Hong Kong to explain.

I'm proud of my Twi-Bite Trifecta award although I have something in store I haven't sent to Mrs. P that should line me up for a quad soon. That woman is going places - she's got us running around the world with her avi and her virtual airmiles are starting to rack up.

Okay, so you wanted more vampires from Stephenie Meyer?

As most of you know Stephenie Meyer is releasing a novella about Bree. Apparently it was meant for the Eclipse Movie Companion Guide but was too big.

Honestly, I wish I were more excited about it. I loved Twilight for Edward & Bella, not for the vampires and the supporting characters. Unless Bree had this secret crush on Edward that takes up 80% of the book I'm expecting to be disappointed. Is that bad?

I haven't commented yet on the new Eclipse poster that has been released a while back.

I am also not a fan of this poster. Specifically something is off about Rob's face. I don't know if it's the softly pleading sad look he has or just that I like real photos better than graphics. Also note that you can now order the Eclipse Book with this cover now here. The other Paperback Eclipse Media tie in is one with just Bella and it's available for pre-order here.

On a weirder note, the subject of wax figures. I had forgotten that Las Vegas had a wax museum. The idea creeps me out and I've never wanted to go inside one. When they announced that a wax figurine of Robert Pattinson was coming out I actually got a tiny bit excited. But then I realized it will be only in London and I won't be there until June. Do you think it looks like him? I feel like they made his eyes too small and his neck a bit too long. Not bad though. I guess if it was TOO good, the drool, hump, and steal risk factor would go up.

Lastly, I have been neglecting my fanfic recommendations. So here are some thing that kept me busy while in Hong Kong:

The Canvas by Twiholic at fanfiction.net
I have to confess to my lovely friend Jelena at Twiholic that I had put off reading her fanfic for a while. It wasn't just her fic but I had not started a new fanfic since the inception of this blog. But boy am I glad that I chose a time where I could read the whole thing through all in one go - back to back chapters of love and lust Bella and Edward. It is a beautiful story so please give it a read. I'm waiting for updates girl :)

Cinderella, A Tale of Lust by Honolulu Girl at her own blog or here for the mobile/iphone version
This smutty version of Cinderella is great. It's at a precipice right now so I'm anxious waiting for HG to update. It's a fairy tale for sure and I love HG's writing style. Of course I'm also fond of it because she has hosted it on her own blog and hence it has it's own Twi-Mobile site. Did I mention that reading fanfic on my iphone is one of the greatest things in life?

This story I've mentioned before but just so you know Call of Booty by Poptarrts and Stoney just updated last night. I get as excited about their updates as I do for Master of the Universe and University of Edward Masen so that's saying something. Those girls are so good at depicting the addict's point of view it makes you wonder where they get their insight from ;) Just kidding. They made me cry big tears and then smile again in the next paragraph. Please go check out their update and don't forget they have a Twi-Mobile version too.
And they have their first Podcast - check it out!

Lastly, Stan from Twi-sted Edbrella has helped spearhead Twific Promotions to help out fanfics that have less than 500 reviews. Considering that there are almost 140,000 fanfics listed under Twilight it's no wonder a new author really has their work cut out for them. If you know of any good stories that deserve more attention go check them out.

For those interested in my travel posts, there are some Hong Kong posts coming up that I will be finishing off when I get back.

For those interested in Twi-Mobile, I've got a few good additions to our network to check out and also some more info from mofuse. I've been twittering with the mofuse CEO and he's super nice so he's got some answers to my questions.

Well, I'm off to pack...

First off, to all my non-blogger friends whose only link to the Twilight universe is ME these are the new Eclipse trailers released on March 10th (10 second teaser) and March 11th (30 seconds).

SPOILERS AHEAD!!

March 11th longer trailer

My thoughts on the trailers were that I was a little disappointed. Edward's hair was a bit flat and I didn't get the tingles up my spine that I was expecting. With the New Moon trailers I always felt a buzz like I'd just had some kind of "experience" every time I watched them. It was so intense that I'd almost cry and have to only watch them once per day. It seems weird to me as well that I would get so strongly affected but you know they were trying to kill Edward! We'll have to see when more trailers come out over time. I can't wait for the proposal scene - one of my absolute favourites from the book.

I just saw Valentine's Day last night.

Pleasantly surprised that it didn't suck. The last few times I've watched a Hollywood Smorgasbord like Gosford Park or Pret-a-Porter I have not liked it very much. Despite my general dislike of Taylor Lautner I didn't cringe very much during his scenes. Taylor Swift seemed to be written as such a bubble head I did feel for her that she didn't have a fair chance to show off her acting skills.
Few conclusions that I reached. Jessica Alba really doesn't look as good as a blonde aka Nikki Reed. Topher Grace has been working out. Patrick Dempsey does a good job playing an ass. And Eric Dane really likes scenes where he's walking around in a towel (it seems that this is his usual mode of acting!)
Lastly, Anne Hathaway can be so funny! Did you know her people once called our office looking for someone willing to do a hotel visit on her while she was filming? Apparently she was too sick and couldn't come to any office and insisted the doctor come to her hotel room. We were too busy and had to say no.

On a side note, I am leaving for Hong Kong this Saturday and extremely tempted now to watch Remember Me tomorrow night. After all, who needs to pack? Just because I've been out for two dinners and a movie this week already doesn't preclude me going out for another movie does it? I'm trying to make up for missing the New Moon DVD release on March 20th - boo hoo!

There are a ton of Remember Me scene snippets as well but you should be able to find everything at the Remember Me Official Summit site.

I will endeavour to post while away in Asia. My mission while I'm there is to scour the back alleys for cheap Twilight merchandise from the factories in China. Wish me luck!

For all of you Bloggers, I'll be posting again today about the Twi-Mobile revolution that's underway...

The 2010 Olympics are coming. They're just up the street. Literally. The TODAY show will begin broadcasting from our local mountain on Tues Feb 9th. Matt Lauer will be going by my house any day now and I'm sure I won't know.

There have been truckloads of stuff going by for these important Americans and I haven't noticed or cared.

I honestly haven't been that excited about it. Until this weekend when 17foreverLisa mentioned Pierce and Rob on the Today show talking about Remember Me I was in a bit of denial. Suddenly I was struck with the realization that with Matt Lauer and Al Roker might come other celebrities. I have tried in vain today to find the Today show guest list for the rest of the month but I guess they don't post that sort of thing too early. Then it wouldn't be current enough to be called the TODAY show would it. Sigh...I'll have to settle for Michael Buble having a free concert in my backyard.

In addition to the celebrities come athletes. Is it sad that I'm not impressed by any of them except the figure skaters? Even the hockey players don't get me excited. You know why? I've been too busy looking at this.

New Eclipse Stills

It's also sad that Mr. TC spent thousands of dollars on Olympics tickets but I don't know what events I'm going to. I can, however, tell you when RPattz will be on TV (March 1st or 2nd on Jimmy Fallon and the View) and also what magazine KStew is currently gracing the cover of (Vanity Fair).

It's downright pathetic that I received an email this morning from a dear relative who loves my blog but was asking politely if I needed an intervention. So for dearest PJ, I'm quite happy to have Rob and his twilight world shoved up my ass for now and don't feel like having it removed just yet but thanks for asking. I love you too sweetie! (truly :))

The one thing that has caught my attention with these Olympics is the sheer volume of people coming to town. We are expecting 5,000 athletes and officials plus 10,000 media members. The Vancouver HostCity website claims 2.3 million attendees. What? Is that number for real?

Somehow Captain Condom and the Safegames crew handing out 250,000 condoms in 2 weeks doesn't seem like enough anymore. It seems that more people in town means big business for sex. I guess all those nubile young'uns with their drunken debaucles in the street will need a good safe outlet.

One of the best sex shops in town is called Womyn's Ware

No, that's not me

and they're offering a special Olympics promotion.

Their special Olympics penis-rings

• 10% discount to all event ticket holders
• free Sex Toy Guide (with $5 coupon) to all accredited press
• Podium Product: Free Clit Pod to all gold, silver and bronze medal winners! It's like a little mini Canadian Touque souvenir!!
• Lube Luge Special: Free Slip Kit to registered lugers

I kid you not! Good thing I have event tickets, always nice to get a good discount.

But sadly I don't think they carry this sparkle peen previously posted about on Twitarded many moons ago

Wonder if it comes perpetually cold too "shivers"

The number of people coming to town also has many wondering

How many Olympics fans are Twihards too?

I honestly couldn't find a single site on Twilight and the Olympics together. I expected some of the twilight tour people in town to have some kind of promotion targeting, you know, us crazy twihard folk. But I found nothing. I'm not sure if this is the Olympics people shutting them down (has been known to happen around these parts) or just lack of foresight and planning on their parts.

After my epic forest hike to the Break Up Log for Mrs. P. at Twibite last week I wondered how many people will be coming to my neighbourhood trying to find the same thing? After all, out of 2.3 million attendees there have to be some twilight fans. I mean there is figure skating happening here and with figure skating comes moms and teenage girls. The key twilight market.

Chances are high that if you like this, you also like...

this.

If anyone knows of anything twilight related in town for the next couple of weeks, let me know what I'm missing. I'm sure there are a few out of you out there who may be coming out to Vancouver very soon who would appreciate more info too.

Or maybe you crazies are just saving your flight out for Forks in September with the Twitarded crew :) or to see if they will film Breaking Dawn here. If you do come to Vancouver give me a buzz. After all, you wouldn't want to miss Mrs. P. in her nightie.

Of note, I will be cross-posting a nice clean version of this post to Mr. TC's blog Average Traveller (you're first on my blogroll honey).

Sometimes clean can be refreshing

Go check it out (and no my clean post isn't up yet, still need to take a shower and get rid of the Sparkle Peen). That blog comes from the more sane side of the bed but I might give myself a quick rinse and head over there once a while to give my two cents. I'll let you ladies know when I do.

This post was prompted by the Twitard's new post "RPattz, is that you?" because I actually know a girl who was texting (or well, more like he was texting her) with Rob. Long winded story but we'll get there soon...

So, as some of you may know, I hail from Vancouver, B.C. In fact, I live about 40 seconds up the hill from where they filmed the break up scene in New Moon.

Sigh...they were so close by and I didn't know

In fact, I am very sad to report that when they were filming down my street that I hadn't read twilight yet *shock.* I was driving home from work and wondered what they were filming with all the bright lights. How could I have known that months later it would dawn on me, while I was in the shower no less having some uber good Edward thoughts, that he had been right down my street???

Another fact of living in Vancouver is that everyone knows someone in the film industry. Hence, everyone knows someone who has worked on either New Moon or Eclipse or both.

When the lovely Jelena over at Confessions of a Twiholic posted that she is four degrees away from Rob, I realized I was only TWO degrees away. She insisted that I out myself to the twitarded crew or that she might do it for me. Happy now girlie?

So, a few of my friends of friends are stunt guys, local actors, and stand ins. I know they all have to sign super secret confidentiality agreements and I hope none of them will get in a lick of trouble with Summit because of my tiny post.

One of my friends has a family member acting in Eclipse - when I found out I was speechless for 20 minutes, seething with jealousy. We all hope she'll take us to the LA premiere with her so we can try and touch RPattz. Her set stories are to die for and I wish I could post them here. May have to wait until after Eclipse if released so Summit doesn't take away her first born.

Another relative of a good girlfriend was working behind the scenes in stunts helping to train the actors. I would love the deets on who he trained but no such luck so far. This is the awesome guy who also surprised me with autographed set merch for Christmas out of the blue - loved it and almost fainted in front of my family (who up until that point had been oblivious to my twihardedness).

Best Christmas present EVER!

here's the story

Lastly, little ditty I found out about from MK last night. Back when New Moon was filming up here, a girl at MK's work was at a post awards-show party with one of the Canadian bands and RPattz came in with his posse. She swears that he was high on coke or some other shit. (MK of course came to his defense because obviously you know him or something right?? okay sweetie, I would too)

Anyways, apparently RPattz spent the whole night hitting on one of the girls that had come with said-girl-from-work even though she was all "I've got a boyfriend, take a hike." Can you believe I know someone who turned him down? WTF? RPattz spent the next few weeks texting her trying to get her to go out while he was in town.

Booty text anyone

I am still reeling this morning. Who the hell did this bitch think she was? God, how many of us wouldn't have killed to be her. I know how many of you out there would have dropped kicked her ass and stolen her phone just to kidnap our Precious.

I hope they come back up here to shoot Breaking Dawn. According to Lainey Gossip there is still a chance so fingers crossed. I still drive by the Cullen house in West Vancouver every week to drive my kids to classes.

Driving by this house every week I keep thinking they're inside

Okay ladies, until the next Close Encounters with Rob post.
